Mission Cathedral Recessed Panel Cabinet Door

Overview

The Mission is a cathedral recessed-panel cabinet door, its flat center panel topped by a peaked cathedral arch rather than a simple soft curve. The dramatic point gives it a more formal, traditional presence.

Design details

The cathedral peak sits at the top rail only, so the Mission has a defined top and bottom, a detail that suits upper cabinets and reads well against Traditional and Victorian kitchen styles. The panel stays flat and uninterrupted below the arch, keeping the peak as the door's main focal point.

Wood species & finishes

Choose from a wide range of species and cuts, including Alder, Cherry, Maple, Pecan-Hickory, Walnut, and Red and White Oak, or the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame for a painted finish. Every Mission is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.

• This featured door is shown in Pink Birch Select Panel and Alder Select Frame with a clear finish.
• 2.25" standard stiles and rails - 4.25" on the largest part of the arch.
• Unless requested by note, a center rail is added at 50" and above.
• At 36" and above, a center bore will be added (if you select boring).
• The minimum dimensions are 9.5" x 9.5" and a maximum of 26.25" x 72"
• Selecting non-standard stiles and rails may require a larger minimum door size.
• Max width is 26".
