Auburn Recessed Panel Cabinet Door

Overview

The Auburn is a recessed-panel cabinet door built like the classic Shaker, but with an added center stile that splits the face into two narrow vertical panels.

Design details

That center stile is the Auburn's defining feature, giving the door a paned, multi-panel look instead of one wide flat panel. It reads as more architectural than a standard Shaker and suits Mission and Craftsman kitchens especially well, along with any design that wants a bit more visual rhythm on the door face. The frame is symmetrical, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom, so it orders and installs consistently across a full kitchen.

Wood species & finishes

With two flat recessed panels instead of one, the Auburn shows off grain and stain color across a slightly broken-up surface. Choose from a wide range of species and cuts, including Alder, Cherry, Maple, Pecan-Hickory, Walnut, and Red and White Oak, or the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame for a painted finish. Every Auburn is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.

• All door shown with a clear finish.
• 2.25" standard stiles and rails.
• Unless requested by note, a center rail is added at 50" and above.
• At 36" and above, a center bore will be added (if you select boring).
• The minimum dimensions are 10.75" x 7.5" and a maximum of 34.13" x 72"
• Selecting non-standard stiles and rails may require a larger minimum size for the door.
• Doors over 26" wide or 70" tall do not come with a warranty.
