Overview
The ready-to-assemble 3-Drawer Base Cabinet is the pan store. Three drawers, full width, and a choice of how the height is divided between them rather than a fixed split you have to live with.
Sizing and fit
Width runs from 9 1/4 to 42 inches, height from 20 to 48 inches, and depth from 12 to 30 inches, all in quarter inch steps. Because the drawer heights divide whatever total height you choose, the cabinet height is doing more work here than on a cupboard.
Drawer layout is a choice at the point of order: a 6 inch top drawer with equal drawers below, three equal drawers, or a staggered split with a 6 inch top and a 14 inch bottom. The listed price covers a cabinet 9 1/4 inches wide, 34 3/4 inches high and 24 3/4 inches deep.
Construction and materials
The case is 3/4 inch PureBond plywood faced in maple or birch veneer with a clear UV finish, or melamine where cost matters more than the interior finish. Edges are banded in PVC, wood tape or special material, 63 finishes in total.
Drawer boxes come in white melamine, or dovetailed in poplar, red oak, maple, walnut or white oak. Finished end panels are available on either side as a flat veneer panel or a faux cap. Toe kicks come recessed, flush, or omitted, with a matching toe kick in 11 wood species. Fronts come from the same catalogue of 121 styles as our replacement doors. Slides are Blum.
