Overview
The ready-to-assemble 2-Door Tall Pantry Cabinet runs floor to ceiling behind two doors. It holds more than any other cabinet in the range, and it is the one where getting the height right matters most, because a pantry that stops short of the ceiling wastes the space above it.
Sizing and fit
Height runs from 48 to 94 inches, width from 22 to 36 inches, and depth from 6 to 30 inches, every one of them in quarter inch steps. Measure the ceiling height at the wall rather than in the middle of the room, and take the lower number if the floor is not level.
The listed price covers a cabinet 22 inches wide, 65 inches high and 24 3/4 inches deep. A full height pantry goes past that, which is expected rather than exceptional on this product.
Construction and materials
The case is 3/4 inch PureBond plywood faced in maple or birch veneer with a clear UV finish, or melamine where the interior will not be seen. Shelves are adjustable as standard, fixed for extra rigidity, or left out. Edges are banded in PVC, wood tape or special material, 63 finishes in total.
Hinge boring is specified when you order, in an A, B, U or T pattern, for a lazy susan, or to a custom layout. Finished end panels are available on either side as a flat veneer panel or a faux cap. Toe kicks come recessed, flush, or omitted, with a matching toe kick in 11 wood species. Doors come from the same catalogue of 121 styles as our replacement doors, so a new box matches an existing kitchen. Hinges are Blum.
