Overview
The ready-to-assemble 2-Door 2-Drawer Base Cabinet doubles the drawer capacity of the standard run cabinet without giving up the cupboard beneath. Two drawers across the top, two doors below.
Sizing and fit
Width runs from 22 to 42 inches, height from 26 to 48 inches, and depth from 12 to 30 inches, all in quarter inch steps. Two drawers side by side want a little width to be worth having, which is why this one starts at 22 inches rather than lower down the scale.
The listed price covers a cabinet 22 inches wide, 34 3/4 inches high and 24 3/4 inches deep. Drawer fronts are 6 inches tall as standard, or specify another height when you order.
Construction and materials
The case is 3/4 inch PureBond plywood faced in maple or birch veneer with a clear UV finish, or melamine where the interior will not be seen. Shelves are adjustable as standard, fixed for extra rigidity, or left out. Edges are banded in PVC, wood tape or special material, 63 finishes in total.
Drawer boxes come in white melamine, or dovetailed in poplar, red oak, maple, walnut or white oak. Finished end panels are available on either side as a flat veneer panel or a faux cap. Toe kicks come recessed, flush, or omitted, with a matching toe kick in 11 wood species. Doors come from the same catalogue of 121 styles as our replacement doors, so a new box matches an existing kitchen. Slides and hinges are Blum.
