Overview
The ready-to-assemble 1-Door Base Cabinet is the narrow end of the base range. One door, a full depth interior, and a case cut to whatever width the gap actually is rather than to the nearest stock size.
Sizing and fit
Width runs from 9 to 24 inches, height from 14 to 48 inches, and depth from 6 to 30 inches, every one of them in quarter inch steps. A narrow base cabinet usually exists because something else set the dimension: a dishwasher on one side, a wall on the other, a run that came up short.
The listed price covers a cabinet 9 inches wide, 34 3/4 inches high and 24 inches deep, and you pay more only when you go past one of those. Hinges are bored left or right to your order, or left unbored if you would rather set them out on site.
Construction and materials
The case is 3/4 inch PureBond plywood faced in maple or birch veneer with a clear UV finish, or melamine where the interior will not be seen. Shelves are adjustable as standard, fixed for extra rigidity, or left out. Edges are banded in PVC, wood tape or special material, 63 finishes in total.
Finished end panels cover the construction screws on any side left in open view, as a flat veneer panel or a faux cap. Toe kicks come recessed, flush, or omitted, with a matching toe kick in 11 wood species. Doors come from the same catalogue of 121 styles as our replacement doors, so a new box matches an existing kitchen. Hinges are Blum.
