Overview
The Dylan is a recessed-panel cabinet door in the skinny shaker family, its narrow 2-1/4 inch mitered frame set with a 1 inch face detail framing a flat inset center panel.
Design details
The rails and stiles meet at a 45-degree miter rather than a square butt joint, forming clean picture-frame corners. The flat inset panel keeps the face smooth and uninterrupted, and the symmetrical layout, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom, keeps ordering consistent across a kitchen.
Wood species & finishes
A flat panel gives the Dylan an uninterrupted surface for grain and stain color to read clearly. Choose from a wide range of species and cuts, including Alder, Cherry, Maple, Pecan-Hickory, Walnut, and White Oak. For a painted kitchen, choose the Maple Paint Grade option or an MDF panel with a paintable hardwood frame. Every Dylan is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
