Overview

The Kennedy is a recessed-panel cabinet door with a narrow, mitered frame, giving it a slim, streamlined take on a Shaker look with a 1" face detail.

Design details

Where most frame-and-panel doors use butt-jointed corners, the Kennedy's rails and stiles meet at a 45-degree miter, so the corners form a clean diagonal line rather than a square joint. The narrow 2-1/4-inch frame keeps the design light, and the recessed center panel sits inside it with only a shallow reveal. For a solid-panel version of the same door, the same narrow mitered frame is offered as the Dylan.

Wood species & finishes

With a flat, uninterrupted panel, the Kennedy puts grain and stain color on full display. Choose from a wide range of species and cuts, including Alder, Cherry, Maple, Pecan-Hickory, Walnut, and Red and White Oak. For a painted kitchen, the MDF panel with paintable hardwood frame offers a stable, paint-ready surface. Every Kennedy is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
