Overview
The Melbourne is a recessed-panel cabinet door with mitered picture-frame corners and detailed inside and outside edges. It is the 3/4-inch version of the Wilmington 7/8-inch door.
Design details
The 45-degree miters run the frame profile continuously around each corner, giving the flat-panel door a tailored, furniture-grade look. The recessed panel keeps the overall design calm, so the joinery and edge detail do the talking. The frame is symmetrical, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom.
Wood species & finishes
A flat panel shows stain and grain evenly, which suits the Melbourne's clean lines. It comes in seven species and cuts: Alder Select, Cherry Select, Maple in Natural and Select, Pecan-Hickory Natural, Red Oak Select, and rift-sawn White Oak. Every Melbourne is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
