Overview

The Dalton is a recessed-panel cabinet door in the Shaker family, with a 3/8-inch solid wood panel set 3/8 inch back from the face. The deep panel setback gives the simple frame a strong shadow line.

Design details

Square frame edges and a flat panel make the Dalton one of the most adaptable doors in the line, at home in modern, transitional, and classic kitchens alike. The 3/8-inch solid panel is thicker than many flat-panel doors, so the construction holds up as well as the design. The frame is symmetrical, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom.

Wood species & finishes

A flat panel and plain frame put the wood selection front and center. The Dalton offers one of the broadest ranges in the line, 33 species and cuts, from even-toned Maple and Alder through Rustic Knotty grades to quarter- and rift-sawn Oak. For painted kitchens, choose the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame or the full maple paint-grade door. Every Dalton is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
