Overview

The Sawyer is a recessed-panel cabinet door with an extra-wide 3-inch frame, a larger-scale take on the classic Shaker look.

Design details

The wider frame gives the Sawyer more visual weight than a standard Shaker door while keeping the same flat, recessed center panel. The frame is symmetrical, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom, so it orders and installs consistently across a kitchen. The extra width makes it a good match for larger doors and bolder kitchen layouts.

Wood species & finishes

An uninterrupted recessed panel puts grain and stain color on full display, so the Sawyer suits both bold stains and clean-grained species. Choose from a wide range of species and cuts, including Alder, Cherry, Maple, Pecan-Hickory, Walnut, and Red and White Oak, with rift- and quarter-sawn oak options available, or the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame for a painted finish. Every Sawyer is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.

• 3" standard stiles and rails.
• Unless requested by note, a center rail is added at 50" and above.
• At 36" and above, a center bore will be added (if you select boring).
• The minimum dimensions are 9" x 9" and a maximum of 30" x 72"
• Selecting non-standard stiles and rails may require a larger minimum size for the door.
• Doors over 26" wide or 70" tall do not come with a warranty.
