Overview

The Josephine is a recessed-panel cabinet door with a substantial 2-1/2-inch frame and subtle edge detailing, a 3/4-inch scaled-down take on the heavier Trenton style.

Design details

The wider frame gives the Josephine more presence than a narrow Shaker door, while the softly detailed edge around the flat recessed panel keeps it from feeling heavy. The frame is symmetrical, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom, for consistent ordering across a full kitchen. For a raised-panel counterpart with the same frame, the look is also offered as the Glacier.

Wood species & finishes

An uninterrupted recessed panel puts grain and stain color on full display, so the Josephine suits both bold stains and clean-grained species. Choose from a wide range of species and cuts, including Alder, European Steamed Beech, Cherry, Maple, Pecan-Hickory, and Red and White Oak, with rift- and quarter-sawn options where grain consistency matters, or the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame for a painted finish. Every Josephine is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.

• All default doors are shown with a clear finish.
• 2.5" standard stiles and rails.
• Unless requested by note, a center rail is added at 50" and above.
• At 36" and above, a center bore will be added (if you select boring).
• The minimum dimensions are 8" x 8" and a maximum of 30" x 72"
• Selecting non-standard stiles and rails may require a larger minimum door size.
• Doors over 26" wide or 70" tall are not covered by warranty.
