Overview
The ready-to-assemble 2-Door Sink Base Cabinet carries a false drawer front where a working drawer cannot go, because the bowl and the trap need the space. Two doors below give you the full run of the cabinet for waste bins and plumbing. The sink itself is not included.
Sizing and fit
Width runs from 22 to 48 inches, height from 20 to 48 inches, and depth from 14 to 30 inches, all in quarter inch steps. Depth starts at 14 inches rather than 6, because a sink base has to hold a bowl. Size it to the sink you have chosen rather than the other way round, and leave room for the trap behind.
The listed price covers a cabinet 22 inches wide, 34 3/4 inches high and 24 inches deep. The same cabinet works under a kitchen sink or a bathroom vanity basin, and nothing about the construction changes between the two.
Construction and materials
The case is 3/4 inch PureBond plywood faced in maple or birch veneer with a clear UV finish, or melamine where the interior will not be seen. Shelves are adjustable as standard, fixed for extra rigidity, or left out. Edges are banded in PVC, wood tape or special material, 63 finishes in total.
Finished end panels are available on either side as a flat veneer panel or a faux cap. Toe kicks come recessed, flush, or omitted, with a matching toe kick in 11 wood species. Doors come from the same catalogue of 121 styles as our replacement doors, so a new box matches an existing kitchen. Hinges are Blum.
