Overview
The ready-to-assemble 2-Door 1-Drawer Base Cabinet is the standard run cabinet: a drawer across the top for the things you reach for daily, two doors and a full depth interior below for the things you do not.
Sizing and fit
Width runs from 22 to 42 inches, height from 26 to 48 inches, and depth from 12 to 30 inches, every one of them in quarter inch steps. Depth is where that granularity earns its keep, because depth is usually dictated by something physical: a waste stack, a duct, or a walkway that cannot lose another inch.
The listed price covers a cabinet 22 inches wide, 34 3/4 inches high and 24 3/4 inches deep. The drawer front is 6 inches tall as standard, or specify another height when you order.
Construction and materials
The case is 3/4 inch PureBond plywood faced in maple or birch veneer with a clear UV finish, or melamine where the interior will not be seen. Shelves are adjustable as standard, fixed for extra rigidity, or left out. Edges are banded in PVC, wood tape or special material, 63 finishes in total.
Drawer boxes come in white melamine, or dovetailed in poplar, red oak, maple, walnut or white oak. Finished end panels are available on either side as a flat veneer panel or a faux cap. Toe kicks come recessed, flush, or omitted, with a matching toe kick in 11 wood species. Doors come from the same catalogue of 121 styles as our replacement doors, so a new box matches an existing kitchen. Slides and hinges are Blum.
