Overview
The Ponderosa is a raised-panel cabinet door built around an S-profile panel, with mitered corners and detailed frame accents. The S-curve gives the panel a softer rise than a standard bevel.
Design details
The mitered frame carries its profile continuously around each corner, and the accent detailing follows the frame's inner edge. The S-panel reads gentler than a hard-beveled raised panel, which keeps the formal design from feeling heavy. The frame is symmetrical, with equal rails and no defined top or bottom.
Wood species & finishes
The S-profile catches light gradually, so both quiet and figured grains work well. Choose from 32 species and cuts, including Cherry, Alder, Maple, Fir Vertical Grain, and quarter- and rift-sawn Oak. Painted kitchens can specify the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame or full maple paint-grade. Every Ponderosa is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
