Hawk Cathedral Raised Panel Cabinet Door
Overview
The Hawk is a cathedral raised-panel cabinet door. A peaked double-curve crown rises over the raised center panel, a classic profile for traditional and Victorian kitchens. It is 2 inches on the stiles and bottom rail, 4 inches at the largest point of the arch, and 2 inches at the smallest point at the top of the arch. Measurements are taken from the backside!
A 1/4" is added to all framing measurements if you select a Glass-Ready or a French Lite door.
Design details
The cathedral crown gives the Hawk a defined top and bottom and makes it a natural for upper cabinets, where the arch is at eye level. Slim 2-inch stiles and rails hold traditional proportions even on small doors. It pairs with square-framed raised-panel doors below for a classic upper-and-lower arrangement.
Wood species & finishes
Raised-panel bevels catch light and emphasize grain, so species choice shapes the door's character. Choose from 33 species and cuts, from even-toned Maple and Alder through Rustic Knotty grades, quarter-sawn Oak, and Walnut. Painted kitchens can specify the MDF panel with maple paint-grade frame or full maple paint-grade. Every Hawk is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
