Cardinal Arched Raised Panel Cabinet Door
Overview
The Cardinal is an arched raised-panel cabinet door with a classic raised center panel under a flat arch, framed by a narrow 2 inches on the stiles and bottom rail, 3 inches at the largest point of the arch, and 2 inches at the smallest point at the top of the arch. Measurements from the backside!
A 1/4" is added to all framing measurements if you select a Glass-Ready or French Lite door.
Design details
The flat arch gives the Cardinal a defined top and bottom, so orientation matters when you order. The slim 2-inch framing is deliberate. It suits traditional proportions on narrow, short doors where a wider frame would swallow the panel. The result is a formal, traditional look that still works at small sizes.
Wood species & finishes
A raised panel's beveled edges catch light and bring out grain, so species choice changes the door's character noticeably. The Cardinal offers one of the broadest selections in the line: 33 wood species and cuts, from even-toned Maple and Alder to dramatic Walnut and quarter-sawn Oak, plus an MDF panel with a maple paint-grade frame for a painted finish. Every Cardinal is made to order in your exact dimensions to fit your existing cabinets.
